Finding connector engagement beyond vanity metrics

Move past connection totals towards signals of dependable workflow value.

Total connected accounts is easy to report and difficult to act on. It mixes dormant configurations with workflows that customers depend on every day.

Start with successful value exchanges over a relevant interval. Then examine healthy recurrence, breadth of objects moved, active users affected and recovery after errors. Choose measures that represent the job the connector performs.

Reliability and engagement belong together. A decline in successful syncs might reflect lower intent, but it may also reflect expired credentials or upstream limits. Add health-state context before interpreting behaviour.

Use these signals to build connector cohorts: newly activated, steadily valuable, intermittently failing, declining and dormant. Cohorts make outreach and product action more precise than a single engagement score ever could.
